If you expect to become unemployed, it is important that you apply for unemployment benefits at the UWV as soon as possible.  On the page Apply for benefits from the website Werk.nl you can apply for unemployment benefits via a digital form.

NB! After your last working day you will have:

• You have 2 days to register with UWV. You can of course do this before.
• 1 week to apply for unemployment benefits. You can apply for unemployment benefits earlier: from 1 month before your last working day.
